Scott Laurie MD, FRCPC is a thoracic medical oncologist at The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Ottawa, Canada. He is a prior Chair of the Investigational New Drug committee of the Canadian Cancer Trials Group, and the head of the phase I unit at The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre. His research interests include the design and conduct of clinical trials in lung cancer and mesothelioma; drug development; and dissemination of knowledge to aid practicing oncologists in their clinical work.
